Our client, a respected leader in their field, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This will be a 6-month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent!

Our client, a respected leader in their field, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This will be a 6-month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent!
Benefits & Perks:
- Compensation: $25 to $30/hour
- Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
- Hybrid work model
- 6 month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent
- Process a variety of payment types (EFT, Wire Transfer, Cheque via Lockbox, Bill Payment, Credit Card) through SAP with accuracy and efficiency
- Investigate and resolve all unapplied payments
- Complete AR maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Perform AR reconciliation to bank clearing accounts
- Monitor and ensure compliance with internal KPMG controls
- Manage the AR functional mailbox and respond to inquiries promptly
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support AR-related needs
- Diploma or degree in an accounting-related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Formulas), Word, and Outlook
- Experience with SAP is an asset
