Aplin has partnered with a well-known global company who specializes in pipeline inspections. Our client needs an experienced salesperson in the pipeline industry in their Calgary, AB location.

Responsibilities:
The Account Executive will be responsible for the following:
  • Develop a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities and maintain ongoing opportunity forecast
  • Propose and pitch competitive solutions appropriate to the customer’s challenges
  • Achieve assigned annual order intake and revenue targets
  • Write annual sales plans for managed accounts and provide regular progress updates to the business
  • Follow defined company processes and procedures throughout the sales cycle leveraging required business software
  • Keep informed of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, competitive offerings, and technology developments
  • Keep informed of relevant internal developments (technology, Products & Services, policies & procedures) by attending relevant training and ongoing self-study
Requirements:
  • 3 - 5 years of related & relevant Sales experience in oil & gas, energy and/or pipeline industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Technical degree or related experience
Qualification or Skills:
  • Skilled in negotiation, uses effective listening & questioning
  • Compliance with current sales process & systems
  • Demonstrated ability to convert opportunities
  • Understand how products & services are bundled to produce tailored CVP for customers
Compensation:
  • Attractive base salary
  • Commission/bonus
  • OTE of $150-200K+
  • Full benefits
