Our client is a family owned, industry leader than has been operating in the Lower Mainland for over 40 years. They work on a mix of new build high rise towers, TI commercial projects and have a service division.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is specifically for the special projects division that includes commercial projects ranging from $100K - $2M. The projects range from commercial retrofits to EV charging stations and more. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a Red Seal Ticket and has experience either running their own company or working in a similar role.

ABOUT THE POSITION
In this role you will have the following duties:
  • Estimate electrical scopes for special projects, including detailed takeoffs, budgeting, and proposal preparation.
  • Manage full project lifecycle from award to close-out for multiple small to mid-sized electrical projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, general contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Oversee on-site field teams, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Track and manage project costs, change orders, and billing to ensure profitability.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and company standards.
  • Support and mentor junior estimators or coordinators as needed.
  • Assist in business development by maintaining relationships with existing clients and pursuing new opportunities.
 THE REQUIREMENTS
  • Red Seal Electrician ticket
  • Experience working on commercial new build and TI projects.
  • Proficient using software’s such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Accubid.
COMPENSATION
  • $80,000 - $130,000 base salary
  • Very competitive bonus structure
