About the Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an up-and-coming Project Manager to grow within a well-established contractor. You’ll work closely with senior project managers, estimators, site staff, and clients, gaining full-cycle exposure to large-scale civil projects. Ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is looking to develop long-term in the civil construction industry.

About the Position

As a Junior Project Manager, you will assist in managing the planning, coordination, and execution of civil infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Project Manager or Director of Construction, you’ll support the successful delivery of projects with a focus on cost control, scheduling, procurement, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day management of civil projects from start to finish
  • Assist with cost forecasting, budgeting, invoicing, and progress tracking
  • Help prepare subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Participate in progress meetings with clients, consultants, and site personnel
  • Support project closeout, reporting, and lessons learned
Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years’ experience in civil construction (earthworks, roadbuilding, underground utilities)
  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • EIT or PMP certification is a strong asset
  • Proficient in project software (MS Project, Bluebeam, Excel; HCSS or Agtek is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Driven, reliable, and eager to grow in a high-performing environment
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: $100,000 – $120,000
