Our client has been operating throughout the Lower Mainland for nearly 20 years and specializes in commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Their expertise lies in lighting upgrades, fire alarm systems, elevator modernization, and general maintenance and installation.

About the Opportunity
In this role, you will deliver electrical services to commercial clients on the special projects division. Your responsibilities will include the following: Running a team of electricians on commercial projects to deliver electrical services on job sites, including general electrical services to fire alarm installations. Representing the company on commercial, industrial, and residential job sites while delivering excellent customer service and high-quality work on projects. Following safety procedures, participating in company meetings, preparing safety documentation, and following the company’s safety processes.

About the Position
Your duties in this role will be as follows:
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical crews on-site to ensure safe and efficient work.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installations and repairs.
  • Plan daily tasks, delegate work, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Inspect work for quality, code compliance, and adherence to project plans.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, other trades, and project managers.
  • Monitor inventory and request materials as needed to avoid delays.
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site safety checks.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians.
  • Complete progress reports, time sheets, and project documentation.
Job Requirements:
  • 1-5 years of experience minimum as an Electrical foreman
  • Red Seal Ticket
  • Start-to-finish project experience on commercial and TI projects
Compensation
  • $45 - $55 an hour, depending on experience
  • 2-4 weeks vacation
  • Discretionary bonuses
