What You’ll Do

What You’ll Do
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be hands-on with designing mechanical systems for critical infrastructure and public spaces across Ontario. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the Mechanical Department Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing detailed mechanical designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu
- Conducting on-site surveys and taking precise measurements for new builds and retrofits
- Performing condition assessments and writing clear, thorough reports
- Contributing to projects such as:
- Transit infrastructure (rail, bus)
- Emergency services buildings (fire, police, EMS)
- Educational facilities (schools, universities)
- Community centres, labs, and municipal, provincial, and federal buildings

What we’re looking for:
- A P.Eng. designation and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in building systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, etc.)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu
- Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with mechanical standards and codes
- Excellent communicator and collaborator
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site work
- A passion for delivering real-world impact through engineering
- An eye for detail and dedication to getting things right the first time
- A desire to grow into a leadership role, with long-term potential to become a partner/equity holder
- Experience working across a wide variety of building types and infrastructure projects
