 What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a collaborative finance team - AP, AR, general accounting, payroll, and reporting.
• Oversee monthly accounting close, ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Drive budget planning and monitoring (capital and operating).
• Manage payroll administration and year-end filings (T4s, reconciliations).
• Coordinate with plan custodians and manage investment transaction records.
• Guide annual audits, year-end close, and financial statement prep.
• Provide strategic support and financial acumen to leadership - cash flow planning, proposals, and board materials.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial legislation and policies.

You Bring

• Proven leadership in finance/accounting with experience managing a diverse team.
• Expertise in full-cycle accounting, financial planning, and reporting.
• A keen eye for accuracy and detail—especially during month-end and audit processes.
• Strong understanding of budget development and performance monitoring.
• Comfort working across multiple entities in a union environment.
