Resource Assistant

Our client is seeking a Resource Assistant with Wills and Estates experience to join their fast-paced Wills, Estates, and Corporate team. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to a busy legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage lawyer calendars, schedule meetings and appointments
• Draft, format, and edit legal documents
• Provide coverage for legal assistants during vacations or absences
• Perform due diligence searches and assist with document review
• Assist with billing processes, including preparation of invoices and billing correspondence
• Organize and maintain legal records for litigation purposes
• Prepare document binders, scan, and photocopy materials
• Support reception as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Direct experience in Wills and Estates law is required
• Legal Assistant diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a client-service mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• 3–5 years of experience in a legal administrative environment
• Ability to work on-site full time
