Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with a minimum of four years' experience in corporate or energy law. This position provides direct support to lawyers within the Energy practice group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, format, and compile legal documents and correspondence
- Open and close client files in accordance with firm protocols
- Manage client communications, respond to inquiries, and follow up as needed
- Maintain lawyer calendars and coordinate appointments based on availability and preferences
- Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems to ensure efficient document and communication management
- Perform other administrative and legal support duties as required
- Legal Assistant Diploma from a recognized institution
- Prior experience in energy law is a strong asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
