This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys bringing mechanical concepts to life in a manufacturing-focused environment. You’ll collaborate with engineers, production staff, and cross-functional teams to produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings that support the design and fabrication of custom equipment.

- Convert concepts, sketches, and calculations from engineers into accurate 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Prepare detailed and clear drafting packages, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with design requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Verify and annotate design specifications; support BOM development and drawing releases.
- Ensure drafting outputs align with internal standards and customer requirements.
- Assist with drawing revisions and contribute to standardizing drafting and document control processes.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is required; experience with AutoCAD is a strong asset.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with an eye for design accuracy and practical application.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Effective communicator—both written and verbal—with strong organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
