Test Engineering Manager

Aplin is hiring on behalf of a leading defence and naval technology company seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead a team in the verification and validation of advanced underwater and electronic systems. This is a key leadership role bridging design and manufacturing to ensure quality, performance, and reliability for mission-critical technology.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small team of Test Engineers and Technologists
• Develop and manage verification plans and test procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design for test/manufacture
• Support automated test systems in production environments
• Troubleshoot test issues and oversee root cause analysis
• Coordinate external field/lab testing and calibration activities
