Our client, a leader in global investment management, is seeking a driven and polished Associate, Business Development to join their growing team in Downtown Toronto, ON. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for an early-career professional who is eager to build a long-term career in financial sales and relationship management.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking
  • Qualify inbound leads and set appointments for senior sales leaders
  • Conduct market research to identify and target prospective clients
  • Collaborate with senior team members on customized proposals and presentations
  • Maintain detailed prospecting activity in CRM systems (Salesforce, ZoomInfo)
  • Attend internal business development meetings and industry events
  • Partner with internal teams to refine sales strategies and share client feedback
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in business development, financial sales, or client-facing roles within insurance, banking, or investment management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and developing a sales pipeline
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred); familiarity with ZoomInfo a plus
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset but not required
