We are hiring an Organizational Design Specialist for our crown corp. client. The Organizational Design Specialist will collaborate with business units and HR to lead operating model and organizational design initiatives that support enterprise transformation and future-state vision. Reporting to the Manager, Compensation & Organizational Design, this role will also contribute to the development and implementation of the Organization Design Centre of Excellence (CoE).

About The Opportunity
The Organizational Design Specialist will collaborate with business units and HR to lead operating model and organizational design initiatives that support enterprise transformation and future-state vision. Reporting to the Manager, Compensation & Organizational Design, this role will also contribute to the development and implementation of the Organization Design Centre of Excellence (CoE).
About The Position
- Develop and execute organizational design strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Lead operating model and org design activities, including current state analysis, capability frameworks, service delivery models, and process mapping.
- Design high-level structures, assess options against criteria, and guide leadership alignment and implementation.
- Create role structures and job designs, including job descriptions.
- Partner with Compensation to ensure alignment with compensation frameworks.
- Apply standardized tools and manage intake/prioritization of org design requests.
- Collaborate with external partners on vendor selection, quality assurance, and knowledge sharing.
- Define and track success metrics related to design effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support implementation planning with HR and Change Management partners.
- Conduct research on best practices, analyze trends, and provide insights to enhance design initiatives.
- Promote understanding of organizational design through learning and communication efforts.
- Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Certification in organizational design or a professional designation (e.g., CPHR) is an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in operating model and org design, ideally in unionized settings or consulting.
- Background in large-scale transformation and change initiatives within complex organizations.
- Annual salary $98,000 - $139,000 depending on experience.
- 4 weeks vacation.
- Hybrid work arrangement, must be in office weekly.
