We are hiring a Manager, Compensation & Organizational Design for our crown corp. client. The Manager, Compensation & Organizational Design, will lead the development and implementation of best practices, frameworks, and methodologies in compensation and organizational design, overseeing a team that includes a manager.

About The Opportunity

The Manager, Compensation & Organizational Design, will lead the development and implementation of best practices, frameworks, and methodologies in compensation and organizational design, overseeing a team that includes a manager.

About The Position
  • Delivers organizational advisory and consultative support to align initiatives with business and people strategies.
  • Ensures compensation and organizational design efforts support desired business outcomes.
  • Evaluates service delivery effectiveness, identifying gaps and driving process improvements.
  • Enhances departmental efficiency through streamlining, re-engineering, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Advises on a range of organizational solutions, including job analysis, design, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Contributes to the design and implementation of compensation programs, salary policies, market pricing, and job evaluation aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Supports compliance with government reporting, FOI requests, and collective bargaining submissions.
  • Assists Compensation and Organizational Design teams in maintaining quality standards and identifying areas for improvement
The Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional designations (e.g., CCP, GRP) or certification in organizational design are assets.
  • 7–10 years of experience in compensation and organizational design, with a track record of identifying gaps and improving organizational efficiency.
  • At least 5 years leading professional teams and collaborating with senior leaders and HR subject matter experts.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build effective partnerships across all leadership levels.
  • Skilled in decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in large, complex organizations; public sector experience preferred.
  • Familiar with project management, business planning, and process improvement methodologies.
Compensation
  • Annual salary $115,000 - $165,000 depending on experience.
  • 4 weeks vacation.
  • Hybrid work arrangement, must be in office weekly.
