Responsibilities

• Oversee and prepare financial reports and profit allocation statements, including NAV calculations, in accordance with client deadlines
• Act as main point of contact for clients regarding monthly reporting packages
• Ensure timely and accurate responses to client inquiries
• Provide support to staff on monthly deliverables as needed
• Collaborate with external parties and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with internal and external standard procedures and best practices
• Support new client onboarding and fund launches
• Recommend improvements for administrative and accounting processes to enhance NAV production efficiency
• Participate in strategic departmental and corporate initiatives
• Contribute to various ad hoc projects as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 5+ years of experience in hedge fund accounting or investment fund accounting involving derivatives
• Professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, or CFA) is an asset
• Strong understanding of investment strategies and financial products (including derivatives)
• Experience reviewing deliverables and leading a team of 5 or more
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across operational teams
• Client-facing, tech-savvy, and hands-on, with the ability to lead teams, work independently, and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
