Our client, a respected civil construction contractor in British Columbia, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale underground utility and civil infrastructure projects. About the Position: As the Senior Project Manager, you will report to the Project Director and lead the execution of various infrastructure projects, including excavation, shoring, underground utilities, and civil site works. You will take ownership of project performance, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

About the Position: As the Senior Project Manager, you will report to the Project Director and lead the execution of various infrastructure projects, including excavation, shoring, underground utilities, and civil site works. You will take ownership of project performance, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of project delivery, from estimating and planning through to completion and closeout
- Establish project objectives, performance standards, and safety expectations
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, scheduling, and billing
- Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to manage resources and deliverables
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits and support quality assurance and safety compliance
- Manage procurement and contract execution
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members
- Identify and resolve project issues in a timely and proactive manner
- 5–10 years of experience managing civil construction projects, particularly in underground utilities, earthworks, roadbuilding, and site servicing
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver profitable projects
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license required
- Competitive salary: $120,000–$150,000
