Our client, a leading Fortune 500 MGA specializing in niche insurance markets, is seeking an experienced analytics leader to support their Canadian operations. In this high-impact role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across Canada and internationally to drive smarter underwriting, pricing, and business decisions through data.

Our client is an established MGA that focuses on specialty businesses. They are listed as one of the Fortune 500 companies operating in over 20 countries. 

About the Opportunity
Our client is looking for someone to lead analytics for a Canadian insurance business, working closely with teams across Canada and internationally. You’ll help underwriters and leaders use data to improve performance, understand risk, and make better decisions. You'll also support pricing strategies, portfolio analysis, and business planning.

Responsibilities
  • Help underwriters manage performance using data and analytics.
  • Lead data strategy for the region and improve data quality.
  • Develop tools and dashboards to support smarter decisions.
  • Work on pricing initiatives and support model development.
  • Collaborate with teams in underwriting, finance, actuarial, and tech.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial insurance, actuarial, or pricing.
  • Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance.
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics or machine learning is a plus.
  • Able to explain complex data to non-technical teams.
  • Comfortable leading projects and working across departments.
