Aplin is excited to collaborate with our long-standing client to recruit a Corporate Paralegal with a CORES Level 1 or 2 designation. This hybrid role offers flexibility, allowing for two remote workdays per week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting legal professionals through accurate and efficient handling of corporate filings and related administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Annual Return packages
- Manually prepare documents related to: Business name renewals (NWT, Yukon), Notices of Change (Directors, Registered Office, Head Office – extra-territorial and domestic)
- Complete and file documents with Corporations Canada and other corporate registries
- Conduct corporate searches across various jurisdictions (Federal, NWT, Nunavut, Yukon)
- Maintain and update the ALF corporate database
- Assist with the upkeep of Society and Non-Profit records in NWT, Nunavut, and Yukon
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts and required actions
- Open and maintain legal files
- Liaise with lawyers, internal staff, and clients
- Perform other administrative duties as required
- Legal Assistant or Paralegal Diploma (or equivalent training)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Proficiency with ALF software (preferred)
- Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent follow-up and time management abilities
- Capable of working independently under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
