Senior Financial Analyst

Aplin has partnered with a well-established company in West Island of Montreal to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for finance professionals seeking stability, flexibility, and a chance to work with a leading organization in the aerospace sector.

Hybrid model: 3 days per week onsite at the Client’s office in West Island area.

Ideal for candidates living in the West Island, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Hudson, NDG, or nearby areas.

Position Details:

• Option 1: 1-Year Contract at $50–$55/hour with potential to go permanent
• Option 2: Direct Permanent hire at $80K–$90K/year
• Includes 3 weeks’ vacation and health & dental benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly P&L and forecasting
• Monthly governance and overhead reports
• Quarterly SR&ED forecasts, claims, and audits
• Government grant claims management
• Annual budgeting (programs, cash flow, overhead, SR&ED)
• Revenue recognition documentation and audit support
• Annual Rate Package preparation
• Ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of financial planning & analysis experience, ideally in the aerospace industry
• CPA designation completed or in progress
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
• Solid understanding of IFRS, cost management, and FP&A models
• Bilingual in French and English (mandatory)

Responsabilités principales :

• Analyse mensuelle du P&L et prévisions
• Rapports mensuels de gouvernance et de frais généraux
• Prévisions, demandes et audits trimestriels liés au programme RS&DE
• Gestion des demandes de subventions gouvernementales
• Budgétisation annuelle (programmes, flux de trésorerie, frais généraux, RS&DE)
• Documentation de la reconnaissance des revenus et soutien aux audits
• Préparation annuelle du « Rate Package »
• Modélisation financière et analyses ponctuelles

Qualifications :

• Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en planification et analyse financières, idéalement dans l’industrie aérospatiale
• Titre de CPA complété ou en cours d’obtention
• Compétences avancées en Excel (Tableaux croisés dynamiques, RECHERCHEV, formules)
• Bonne compréhension des IFRS, de la gestion des coûts et des modèles FP&A
• Bilingue en français et en anglais (obligatoire)
