The Vancouver office, located in the downtown core, is seeking a motivated Finance Coordinator to join their supportive finance team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Finance Coordinator will provide on-site administrative and accounting support to the finance department. This position plays an integral role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the firm’s financial activities, including payments, reconciliations, and banking functions. The role is fully in-office, based in downtown Vancouver, offering valuable exposure to financial operations within a professional legal environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle daily bank runs, cheque signings, and online wire transaction reviews for approval.
- Provide backup support for trust deposit postings and manage the distribution of mail within the department.
- Maintain and organize financial records and safekeeping documentation.
- Assist with vendor invoice reconciliations, disbursement entries, and audit inquiry requests.
- Prepare various forms and supporting documentation for financial audits and law society reporting.
- Enter cheque details into internal systems for payroll-related tax remittances.
- Liaise with other offices and departments to support administrative and financial processes.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- 1–2 years of experience in finance, administration, or customer service (law firm or professional services experience an asset).
- Strong attention to detail and basic accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and proactive approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 (dependent on experience).
