About the opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Travelling Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial and industrial projects nationwide, typically ranging from $20M–$50M. The portfolio includes big-box retail stores, warehouses, food processing facilities, and large site developments up to 100 acres.

This role offers a 10-days-on / 4-days-off rotation, 15% travel uplift, and a $165/day per diem for accommodation and meals, plus vehicle rental allowance. It’s ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish.

Please note: This is a site-based position open to candidates across Canada.

About the position
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Travelling Superintendent will oversee all aspects of on-site construction execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site operations, managing subcontractors and self-performed work.
  • Drive construction schedules and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Anticipate challenges and collaborate with PMs and clients to find proactive solutions.
  • Mentor junior superintendents and field staff.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
