Drafter, Civil

If you are talented and experienced AutoCAD Drafter, Aplin has the right opportunity for you!  Our client, a leader in their field, has partnered with Aplin to grow their team in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in all aspects of the development and design using AutoCAD to create all drawings for client review.
• Liaise with Sales, Construction, and the end customer to ensure specifications are interpreted correctly for quotation purposes.
• Determine best drafting/design practices and communicate with peers.

Qualifications:

• You are a Structural, Civil, or Architectural Technologist or equivalent with an established track record in construction drafting/design.
• Above average competency with AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and interpret customer specifications.
• 3 years or more in drafting for commercial or residential construction.
• Proficient in all MS Office (primarily Excel and Word) applications.
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
