An exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing operation in Saskatoon!

We're partnering with an established industrial manufacturer that's expanding its Canadian operations with a brand-new facility in Saskatoon. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Shipper/Receiver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, keeping things organized, and ensuring products get where they need to go safely and on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who brings strong shipping and receiving experience, takes pride in running an efficient operation, and is ready to contribute to the success of a growing manufacturing team.

The Role
As Shipper/Receiver, you'll play an important role in coordinating the movement of materials and finished products, managing shipping schedules, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. You'll work closely with production, operations, and transportation providers to ensure customer orders are accurate, properly prepared, and shipped on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Schedule shipments, arrange transportation, and work with carriers to meet delivery requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, telehandlers, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Inspect, label, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and support inventory control processes.
  • Coordinate workloads and assist with scheduling to meet production and shipping deadlines.
  • Provide direction and support to shipping personnel, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Work closely with management and other departments to resolve shipping issues and maintain strong customer service.
  • Complete shipping documentation, quality checks, and transactions using inventory and ERP systems.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

The Person

We're looking for a dependable, organized individual who enjoys being hands-on while also taking responsibility for keeping shipping operations running smoothly.
Ideally, you'll bring:
  • 2–4 years of shipping and receiving experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing, steel processing, or warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating forklifts and telehandlers, with forklift certification required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple shipments and priorities.
  • Experience arranging freight, working with transportation providers, and maintaining shipping documentation.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, Microsoft Office, and ERP or warehouse management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production teams, management, and carriers.
  • A safety-focused mindset and attention to detail.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active industrial environment.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience would be considered an asset, as this position will involve coordinating work and providing direction to others.

Why This Opportunity?
  • Join an established industrial manufacturer expanding its Canadian operations with a new facility in Saskatoon.
  • Play an important role in helping establish efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
  • Take on a hands-on position with opportunities to contribute to daily operational decisions.
  • Work with a supportive team where communication, safety, and quality are valued.
  • Opportunity to apply your experience, take initiative, and grow with the organization.
  • Be part of a company with a strong manufacturing background and a long-term commitment to the Canadian market.
