Responsibilities
- Prospect and establish new broker relationships through visits, networking, and social outreach
- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with brokers, understanding their needs
- Collaborate with underwriting and leadership teams to nurture leads and facilitate quotes
- Attend industry events and trade shows, primarily in BC’s interior regions
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and prospects in CRM systems
- Grow and manage a book of business by identifying new opportunities and promoting existing products
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in insurance
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-driven mindset
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Energetic, personable, and ready to hit the road to grow business
