Stacey Danley at Aplin has partnered with our downtown client in the search for an Accountant. Joining a tenured team of accounting professionals is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting graduate to gain hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of month-end and year-end journal entries
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
- Preparation of year-end audit files
- Ad hoc reporting as required
Qualifications:
- Accounting diploma or degree
- 2 years of accounting experience including balance sheet reconciliation and P&L variance analysis
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical acumen with an ability to investigate discrepancies
Please note this is a full-time permanent in-office role. Ideal hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.
