David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Temporary Receptionist based in downtown Edmonton.
Our client, an established health solutions organization, is seeking a Temporary Receptionist with RECENT experience to work in their West Edmonton office. This 2-week temporary Receptionist position will report to the director of HR and will require a very personable, organized individual with outstanding strong time-management skills.
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of recent reception and administration experience and will have an Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Managing and monitoring the front desk - answering on average 50 calls per day
Providing assistance to visitors and clients
Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
Booking and confirming meeting rooms
Ordering catering for meeting and lunch and learns
Ordering business cards for staff members
Data inputting of client files
Faxing, filing and scanning large quantities of information
Ordering office supplies
Making coffee for the office and keeping the kitchen area tidy
Other office duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous 1 year of recent Receptionist experience
Intermediate MS Word skills with the ability to draft memos
Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to create basic spreadsheets and enter data
Professional image and excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal communication skills
The ability to prioritize and multi-task
Own transportation required
