David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Technical Sales Representative based in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Our client is a large suppler of couplings, valves and fittings to the mechanical distributor market, and has a strong client base that has been built with their experience and knowledge of their industry. They are constantly keeping current with the market trends, and due to their ever-expanding business, they require our assistance in recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative for the Grande Prairie region.
This industry is dynamic and their relationships are built on strong communication and knowledge of product; they want someone who holds themselves to that same standard of sales excellence. The primary focus of this individual is to promote and sell company products, concepts and services to prospects, specifiers, buyers, distributors and end users. There is a strong emphasis to work with the EPC community. Having the ability to research the marketplace, identify major construction, expansion or retrofit projects and to consistently have the product sold into these opportunities will make you a success!
Qualifications for this role are a strong sales background with prior professional sales training, coupled with an above average technical/mechanical aptitude, superior negotiation, planning, organizational and presentation skills that compliments your current 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the industrial marketplace.
