Join a top employer and advance your career. David Aplin Group has partnered with a Kitchener-based company to hire a Systems Project Manager/ Business Analyst with 10 years of experience in Ontario SIS operations and processes. It is a 1-year work-from-home contract with limited travel involved.


  • Review and translate Ministry compliance documentation, such as PPMs and directive memos to ensure SIS functionality complies
  • Write reports, data analytics, and application interfaces 
  • Analyze and understand interfaces between Ontario SIS and external programs like OBC and product interfaces 
  • Monitor and relay feedback on Aspen compliance against CSA/OBC (all areas)
  • Provide direct support to the committees in analyzing any issues and devising standards/ technical resolutions to meet the needs of all Boards
  • Gather requirements and work with others to coordinate and articulate workable solutions by understanding SIS functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Enhance and design business process diagrams and other related models
  • Liaise with vendor and contribute with other staff in identifying and recommending controls by identifying problems and improving written procedures
  • Monitor and track vendor work plans, including milestones, phases, tasks, and upcoming planned changes



  • Proficient in planning agendas, recording meeting minutes, initiating follow-up action, analyzing, and establishing priorities and timelines, conducting research, and developing reports, coordinating a variety of projects, organizing activities, processing a continuous volume of work at a high level of accuracy and precision, and keeping current professionally
  • Experience preparing, publishing, and distributing a wide range of publications, memoranda, agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations while meeting multiple deadlines, and multiple committees
  • Proficient in preparing, facilitating, and initiating meetings and projects with minimal supervision, in conjunction with the day-to-day management of file structures (document management and retention)
  • Ability to work in partnership with suppliers and school boards, while managing competing priorities
