David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for a Strategic Receptionist based in Edmonton, AB.

Our client, a Private Financial Group, is looking for a Reception/ Administrator on a temporary to permanent basis.
This position reports directly to two Advisors and is the PILLAR of the organization. You will be the main point of contact for clients, new and existing. The ideal candidate will have OUTSTANDING communication skills, a professional image, and phone etiquette. The successful candidate will be detail orientated, a people pleaser and willing to go above and beyond to help others.

The Role:
  • Answering a multiline phone system with on average 50 calls per day
  • Data entry of managing directors notes into files
  • Faxing, filing, scanning
  • Putting together insurance packages ensuring all the correct documents are attached
  • Booking and confirming meeting for staff as well as the main point of contact for boot camps
  • Email correspondence with clients regarding insurance packages
  • Processing new and received insurance applications 
  • Ordering catering for lunches
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Ensuring the office is locked at the end of the day
  • Ensuring the kitchen is always immaculate 

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 1-2 years Reception administrative experience
  • Intermediate user of MS Word and Excel
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Ability to assist wherever the need
