David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Senior Screening Administrator on a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for a passionate individual who will be responsible for the administration of the organizations security screening and security clearance programs. The security screening program is a vital safeguard in the protection of the client’s assets, and extreme care must be taken in analyzing employee and contractor personal information to ensure their reliability. 

The Role: 

  • Provide a full range of administrative security screening support and assistance to Security Operations in daily activities, (i.e. maintain administrative security screening records/files), track progress and take appropriate follow-up action to ensure completion of tasks.
  • Create documents, reports and files for the work unit to ensure professional-quality documentation.
  • Maintain and update files and records to ensure effective organization of documents.
  • Perform quality assurance activities on the screening case files.
  • Maintain the case management database and ensure that the information is accurate and up to date.
  • Execute screening methods (credit checks, criminal record checks, international back checks, etc.).
  • Run reports, synthesize information and validate with Manager of clients as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and follow up with action items.
  • Greet and aid both internal and external clients in support of good client relations.
  • Recommend improvements with initial impact analysis to screening processes.
The Ideal Candidate:

  • University degree or college diploma in Criminology, Administration, Social Science or other relevant discipline.
  • Four years of relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of one year experience with a case management ticketing system.
  • Four years of experience maintaining Excel spreadsheets and various databases.
  • English essential, French will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in highlighting issues/risks and escalating as required.
  • Strong analytic skills, ability to understand, analyze and synthesize complex security screening issues or situations quickly and to make sounds recommendations and decisions or escalate to managements as required.
