A thriving utility organization is need of a Senior Administrative Assistant to fill a temporary 9 month positions with the possibility of an extension. This position is ideal for a professional Senior Administrative Assistant with at least 4 years experience at a senior level. This role requires an enthusiastic person with outstanding multi-tasking abilities that can support a busy office. As the Senior Administrative Assistant you will need advanced MS Word skills because you will be drafting and reviewing memos, correspondence and presentations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to enhance their skills in a self-motivated work setting.
Calendar Management for the Director of Shared Services
Coordinating and scheduling meetings, creating safety agendas, PowerPoint presentations, coordinating IT technology, attending meeting and taking minutes
Phone and email corresponding on behalf of the director
Implementing and maintaining a system for tracking purchasing order requisitions ensuring most cost effective method used
Tracking work orders for completion, sending closed work orders for invoicing and sending quote letters to customers
Monitoring and trouble shooting project billing
Maintaining and modifying the SharePoint site
Coordinating travel and other meeting arrangements
The Ideal Candidate:
4 years recent experience as a senior-level administration
Advanced MS Word skills with the ability to use macros, micros, templates and style sheets
Advanced Excel skills, including excellent data entry skills and the ability to use macros and micros, pivotal tables
Advanced PowerPoint skills are required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
