David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk based in Winnipeg, MB.
In this dynamic role, the responsibilities involve both managing full cycle Accounts Payable as well as assisting the Service Manager with warranty items. This unique role will allow you to to utilize your excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills along with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. You also possess strong customer service skills and have the ability to set and manage priorities to meet all deadlines. Also seeking a minimum of 2 years’ experience with full cycle Accounts Payable experience.
Additional duties may include:
Managing full cycle Accounts Payable including vendor relations, invoice handling and authorizing payment
Data entry of invoices into Adagio
Verifying invoices by department heads or corresponding purchase orders
Confirming payment approval by the CFO
Paying the invoice to vendors
Match, batch and code invoices
Ability to handle over 1000 invoices per month
Assisting the Service Manager with warranty items or requests
Dealing with customers, screening service requests
Determine if request needs to be escalated to Service Manager, or, create work order and coordinate trades when necessary
Follow up on service performed, keep internal staff informed on status
The Ideal Candidate:
Two plus years of Full Cycle AP experience
Experience in AP and Warranty Administration is an asset
Ability to handle processing invoices and take on additional responsibilities is ideal
Looking for someone who is highly organized, detail oriented, able to multitask and prioritize
Salary range will vary depending on experience from $45, 000 - $50, 000 per year.
