David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for a Senior Account Executive. Our client is a Microsoft Gold Partner and they specialize in offering state of the art Managed Network Services and high end Security Operations.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the successful candidate will develop and manage new key client accounts across the province of Quebec. Spending most of their time on the road, the SR Account Exec will work alongside the Sales Engineer to develop strategic solutions for corporate clients. 

The Role:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. 
  • Develop consultative relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors by adding value to existing IT services. 
  • Forecast and track key account metrics including account and territory planning
  • Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with sales team to ensure growth attainment
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives. 
  • Work closely with cross operating teams to ensure customers attain marketplace goals.
  • Keep current on product features, advantages, benefits and selling points.
  • Strong understanding of the IT channel.
The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+years of full sales cycle experience within Managed Network Services industry.
  • Knowledge working with Salesforce an asset.
  • Accomplished in developing and managing relationships and driving ongoing revenue results. 
  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Technology, Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Extensive Strategy Development, Partnership Management or Business Development experience. 
  • Proven ability to work independently. 
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills with respect to technical, contractual and financial negotiations.
  • Team player with strong negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable with the ability to do quality work under tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Able to travel international and locally.
