David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Temporary Receptionist, to cover a Maternity leave, based in Edmonton, AB.
Are you a highly professional individual interested in an exciting temporary opportunity at a highly respected consulting firm? As the temporary Receptionist, reporting to the District Manager, you'll be responsible for greeting and assisting clients, reconciliation of the petty cash and writing up the monthly office emails. The successful candidate must be organized, efficient and have intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
This is temporary maternity leave coverage, but has the opportunity for continuation within the company.
Answering a multi line phone system - on average 50 - 70 call per day
Providing routine administrative support for HR recruitment, including correspondence, collating applications, organizing interviews, seeking references and liaising with candidates, interview panels, processing information via the system.
Checking eligibility to work documentation.
Processing orders for stationery.
Maintaining email/ mail distribution.
Processing incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
Ensuring company website is up to date and current.
General support for consultants - include arranging meetings, luncheons, room bookings
Maintaining and managing all supplies for the photocopier/printer.
Managing the recycling of used toners.
Dealing with building maintenance and cleaning companies
Ordering catering as and when required.
The Ideal Candidate:
1 year or more of office reception experience
Intermediate MS Word skills with the ability to draft memos
Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to create basic spreadsheets and enter data
Excellent telephone etiquette
Professional image and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong verbal communication skills
The ability to prioritize and multi-task
