David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for an immediate temporary position.

Our client is looking for a confident individual to fill the position of a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant position. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be reliable and have excellent technical skills. Experience in the financial industry would be considered an asset.

The Role:

Some of your daily duties will include:

  • Reception and Administration 
  • Act as the main point of contact, answer main phone line and greet guests
  • Handle inquiries regarding investments and retirements and respond to emails
  • Updating Excel spreadsheets, data entry
  • Organize and arrange meetings
  • Arrange lunches for meetings
  • Courier, mail, phone and various special projects 
  • Business development support - creating packages, email notifications
  • Update website reporting and documentation
The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 years' + experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the financial services industry also including banking is also an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated can work with minimal supervision as well as a team player 
  • Professional, friendly and detail oriented
This is a temporary role starting as soon as possible. The hours are 8:30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday. Salary range will is $25,000 - $30,000 per year depending on experience.
