David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client, a Fortune 500 Company, to recruit Receptionist who will also serve as the Assistant to the Senior Director of Operations, in Northwest Edmonton.
As the Receptionist and Assistant, you'll be responsible for any administrative tasks assigned by the Senior Director of Operations as well as managing the front desk independently. You'll be responsible for managing the branch's meeting room calendar and provide administrative support to the team. If you have at least 2 years of receptionist experience in a corporate setting and are looking to work in a busy environment, this is the position for you! The successful candidate must have intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Publisher.

Answering and directing incoming calls on a busy phone line
Managing all mail and couriers
Greeting and assisting visitors and clients
Calendar management for meeting rooms
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Setting up new hire swipe card
Compiling new hire packages
Making travel and meeting arrangements
Preparing and processing invoices
Performing data entry and filing duties
Ordering office supplies when required
Performing general office duties
The Ideal Candidate:
RECENT 2+ years of receptionist experience
Proficient in Visio and Publisher
Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate MS Word and Excel Skills
Proficient typing skills - 70 wpm
Must display a positive and professional demeanor at all times
