David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant.
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in Nisku, is looking to find a Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant to work within their busy office on a temporary to permanent basis.
As the receptionist/ Administrative Assistant you will report directly to the HR manager and will provide the branch with reception/ administrative support. Communication skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role, therefore advanced MS Word and Excel skills are essential for this role.
Answering telephones in a prompt & professional manner
Meeting and greeting clients and guests
Handling special requests for high level clients & executives, as needed
Provide back up support to other members within the facilities departments
Assisting with composing correspondence, providing assistance, and other administrative duties
Prepping documentation for meeting
Scanning, Faxing, Filing
Serving as a liaison with other departments as needed
Assisting with escorting office guests into conference rooms
The Ideal Candidate:
2 years previous Reception / Administration experience at a high level
Intermediate user of MS Word and excel
Approachable and friendly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to work both independently and in a team
A results-oriented personality with the ability to take initiative
Experience in a legal environment is considered an asset
