Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines? Do you have at least 3 years of experience in an office environment and the ability to type 40 - 60 WPM?

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for two current openings within the same fast paced organization for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant based in Winnipeg, MB

Our client, a family owned company that strongly believes in quality, integrity, and value, is looking to add a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to their team. One position is covering the remainder of a maternity leave, and one position will be a temporary to hire position.

The Role:
  • Being the first point of contact for walk-in clients and customers
  • Obtaining and processing information required to provide services in a timely manner
  • Answer, screen and forward telephone calls as well as relay any messages to proper individuals
  • Perform other duties, such as filing, sorting and distributing mail, photocopying, faxing
  • Accounts Payable - entering invoices into QuickBooks
  • Challenging invoices that have discrepancies
The Ideal Candidate:
  • The ideal candidate will have completed college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent data entry speeds and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of Accounting software and Database software
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm with 1/2 hour lunch break.
