David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Office Receptionist and Leasing Administrator based in Edmonton, AB.
Our client, a versatile manufacturing company, is looking for an Office Receptionist, to fill a temporary to permanent position that has opened up with their South Edmonton office. You will also be assisting with some administrative tasks to the leasing department.
The successful Office Receptionist will be responsible for acting as the face of the company, making guests feel welcome, and overseeing the smooth running of the office operations. If you are a friendly yet professional individual who has previous administrative experience and would like to learn more, then this job could be for you!
Greeting visitors in a professional manner and directing them to the appropriate area
Answering phone calls and email inquiries
Managing a switchboard and transferring calls
Ensuring the front desk is tidy, organized and presentable
Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Ordering office supplies when required
Performing some data entry and filing
Typing up business correspondence when required
The Ideal Candidate:
1 year of experience in a similar role
Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills, with the ability to work with spreadsheets and templates
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
Organizational skills and attention to detail
The ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
Own transportation required
