The Role:

As a bilingual QA & Support Specialist you are responsible for developing and executing test plans according to best practices; verifying that software requirements are met and ensuring that systems comply with regulations. This includes documenting and testing software defects, producing quality assurance metrics to assess product stability and suitability for release, executing functional, integration, interface, load and regression testing, helping manage internal test lab environment and providing product support to end-users.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technical discipline and/or two or more years’ experience as a software QA specialist with a solid understanding of QA methodologies.
  • Experience with following are considered strong assets:
    • Defect/enhancement tracking systems, automating testing tools, test-lab management, Microsoft SQL Server, XML, testing systems, testing web based software.
  • Providing customer support.
  • QA certification/designations from recognized institute such (IIST/ISTQB/CSTB).
