Responsibilities: 

  • Driving operational excellence and maximizing organizational growth through leadership in managing production activities and physical operations, the Plant Manager will properly allocate staff to meet production forecasts and produce quality products on schedule
  • Lead the team to achieve industry-leading performance levels in safety, service, quality, yield, and efficiency
  • Work with members of the Senior Management team to set strategic goals for the organization
  • Lead and support the development and implementation of 5 S and Continuous Improvement programs
  • Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labor, and equipment to meet production targets
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery/ equipment, production systems, and methods of work
  • Manage staffing levels to provide consistent lead times while dealing with the challenges presented by variation in demand and seasonality
  • Oversee coaching and training of employees
  • Ensure that inventory levels can support production forecasts
  • Ensure the Quality System is enough to meet the needs of customers
  • Promote positive employee relations through open communication
  • Report weekly on performance results and evaluate progress relative to goals and targets
  • Ensure the condition and integrity of the Company and its assets
  • Ensure the Company always follows existing regulations

 


Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a supervisor or manager from a production/assembly plant    with   proven management and leadership skills
  • Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing leadership, and practical implementation experience required
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Experience working with quality systems
  • Demonstrated Process improvement competencies
  • Technical problem-solving skills
  • Financial acumen and client-service skills
  • Proficient in MS Applications, project planning, and management
