David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Payroll Administrator based in Winnipeg for an immediate temporary to hire position.

As a leader in the service industry, our client is seeking an intermediate Payroll Administrator. This well-managed company offers challenge, versatility and career growth. If you have strong attention to detail and love a challenge, then this may be the role for you!

The Role:
  • Processing payroll for up to 6000 employees as part of a team
  • Performing employee changes in ADP software such as setting up new hires, processing terminations and adjusting rates
  • Calculating retroactive pay and termination pay
  • Processing appropriate payroll accruals at month end
  • Establishing and maintaining employee records
  • Handling employee inquiries and responding to emails from staff
  • Calculate and process appropriate bonus accruals
  • Preparing bi-weekly reports
The Ideal Candidate:
  • 2 years of full cycle payroll experience is required
  • Completion of the PCP is a strong asset
  • Experience with U.S. Payroll is an asset
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment under strict deadlines as part of a team
Salary will range on experience for this immediate temporary to hire opportunity within $45,000 - $55,000 per year.   Some overtime is to be expected every second week at the beginning of the week when payroll is running.
