David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Part Time German Speaking Administrative Assistants on a temporary basis, Downtown Edmonton.

A Downtown government organization is currently seeking a Part Time German Speaking Administrative Assistant, that has a working fluency in German and English.  If you speak the following languages and enjoy working in team oriented environments, then this may be the opportunity for you!

Part time Contract Role Duration:

  • 20 hours per week 
  • September - November  (December Off Work)
  • January - June (July - August Off work)
The Role:

  • Assisting in event organization and special projects
  • Answering inquiries via phone or email
  • Dealing with international stakeholders
  • Arranging travel
  • Creating documents
  • Drafting memos, documents, and correspondence
  • Filing and records management
  • Filing, photocopying and faxing
The Ideal Candidate:

  • Written and Spoken fluency in Germany and English
  • Intermediate MS Word skills with the ability to use macros, templates and headers and footers
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including excellent data entry skills and working knowledge of macros, spreadsheets and the If function
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team
