David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Outside Sales Representative based in Vancouver.

Our client, a large window manufacturer, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to help build, grow and maintain customer relationships in the Vancouver area. In this role, you will be responsible for all sales related activities within the assigned territory, Vancouver region, and will need to be dedicated to providing top-quality customer service. The Role:

  • Focus on opening new client accounts to achieve annual company objective
  • Schedule and travel to visit existing client accounts to review over product needs and evaluate for additional growth
  • Updating customers records in the CRM to ensure any changes or modifications for current and future sales
  • Creating and executing sales proposals, plans, forecasts and budgets
  • Keeping up to date on new products, services, and tools by attending internal training and external trade shows and conferences
  • Liaising between customers and company for up to date status of services and new product launches
  • Nurtures a cooperative relationship with all customers on their assigned territory
  • Monitor and report competitive market information and pricing and make suggestions to management for improvements in all areas
The Ideal Candidate:

  • Member of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association ( CHBA ) is preferred
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License with appropriate work vehicle
  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience the building products industry
  • Knowledge of building materials, new homes, building or renovation industry is an asset
  • Proven sales record and new business development skills, seeking a hunter mentality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technology savvy
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Background and knowledge of Space Planning and Building/Construction
