David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with a leading North American Engineering firm to recruit an Office Manager for their Vancouver location.
In this position, the successful candidate will manage a team of 6 support staff and will report into two Managing Directors that are based locally.
The office Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations as well as managing the needs of the support staff
This is a unique opportunity in that the Office Manager will also be able to work on, and lead, exciting projects with both local and national clients.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
The ability to work with a dynamic, highly communicative team that works at a fast pace
6+ years of experience managing a support team in a Professional Services environment
Proven track record of increasing staff engagement levels
Prior experience delivering projects to deadlines
Experience working cross-departmentally
The ability to plan events, meetings and excursions for an entire team
