David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for an Office Manager.


We have partnered with our manufacturing and sales distribution client in Edmonton northweast to find an Office Manager. The Office Manager will manage the office administration processes including high volume of accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and orders.

The Role:

  • Manage, train and provide good leadership to team
  • Monitor subcontractors insurance and notify operations of expiry dates
  • Track and reconcile holdings
  • Reconcile and report monthly
  • Enter daily deposits or received payments
  • Track all deposits
  • Apply all payments to outstanding Accounts Receivable and post write offs
  • Prepare all weekly vendor payments
  • Prepare various reports and analysis monthly
  • Set up new vendors 
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel 
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong general accounting skills
  • Must be focused and attentive to details
  • Proven ability to resolve conflict
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Understanding of Great Plains would be considered an asset
