The successful candidate will be assisting 1-2 Lawyers and we seek an enthusiastic and supportive person who will help to further their reputation as one of the very best providers of legal services. Day-to-day administrative tasks include:
Preparing and revising legal documents and client correspondence (dictation or drafting )
Document management duties,
Monitoring and maintaining file progress
Calendar and meeting organization
Preparing accounts and written briefs
·Liaise with clients, legal assistants, paralegals, other lawyers on file progress
The Ideal Candidate:
2-7 years of experience in litigation
Prefer experience in health law, medical malpractice, employment, commercial litigation
Post-secondary education from an accredited Legal Assistant program and/or equivalent experience
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism
Highly organized and able to prioritize workload
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude, self-starter and a strong team player
