David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an enthusiastic and eager Junior ASP.NET Developer.
The primary role of the Junior ASP.NET Developer is to troubleshoot and correct application system issues, maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation, testing, software support, assist intermediate and senior developers on projects, report generation and work on a variety of small to medium projects developing or enhancing existing applications.
The scope of this position covers all information technology issues and concerns that might arise within the company. The following is a list of the duties and responsibilities associated with the position at hand. The tasks and time spent performing each task may vary depending on certain circumstances and business needs.
Respond to and resolve user issues with application software.
Provide training/support to users regarding software applications.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation/standards of applications.
Creating SQL scripts for generating reports (SSRS).
Maintain and enforce all related IT procedures and standards.
Improve existing documentation around all software applications.
Perform programming and testing activities.
The Ideal Candidate
This is a full-time position that requires:
0-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within programming and analysis.
4-year University degree or College certificate in a Computer Science program or equivalent. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of Relational Databases (Microsoft SQL Server), .Net, C#, SQL Server Reporting Services, PC applications, basic computer hardware, and Internet technologies.
