David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Inside Sales Representative based in Edmonton, AB.

Our client, a leader in the air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and heating sectors, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their expanding team. As one of the largest independent distributors in Eastern Canada, they are dedicated to providing their customers with a high level of customer service and support. 

The Role:

  • Review and evaluate project plans and specifications
  • Determine parts, equipment or HVAC-R equipment needed for projects based on the customer’s needs and requirements 
  • Prepare quotations based on project plans/specifications and complete proposals
  • Draw up technical drawings and data sheets for clients’ review
  • Maintain strong communication lines with clients and external representatives throughout all stages of the project
  • Manage projects and ensure timelines are being followed
  • Work with mechanical contractors and engineers as required
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following up with clients
  • Answer customers’ inquiries, questions or complaints and ensure clients are informed on standard procedures
The Ideal Candidate:

  • Completion of secondary school and relevant college education
  • Completion of sales related training programs
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills
  • Ability to close sales, negotiate and work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a demonstrated professional phone manner
  • Strong sense of initiative and resourcefulness
