David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with a well-respected client and leader in the building materials’ industry to recruit an Inside Account Representative based in Saskatoon.

The Inside Account Rep reports to the Inside Sales Coordinator for the region and is focused on maintaining relationships with existing customers, prospecting for new customers, and supporting outside sales. Growth will be achieved through building sales with existing customers and finding new customers in key markets.  

The Role:

  • Customer-focus and satisfaction is a priority 
  • Achieve daily outbound call requirements   
  • Prospect for new customers and work on regaining lost customers  
  • Work with contracted reps to provide leads and quotes  
  • Contribute to the sales funnel and execute sales on the open quotes – track and maintain opportunities 
  • Achieve defined targets in sales and profits in assigned market
The Ideal Candidate:

  • Completion of a University degree or College diploma (required)       
  • 2+ years of outbound years sales experience
  • Building supply sales experience is an asset 
  • Ability to value sell, while also becoming knowledgeable of the products that are being sold 
  • Driven to excel by proactively exceeding daily KPIs, finding new business and growing the sales funnel focus on continuous improvement 
  • Ability to excel in a growth-oriented, fast-paced, dynamic environment, transitioning from an operationally focused to a commercially focused organization
